Christmas this year was, well, different. Instead of spending it in Florida with my mom and her family, like me and my sister have done for the past 6 years (before then my parents were together), we went to New York to spend Christmas with my dad and his side of the family. He bought a house in Bronxville, suburb north of the city, (not far from where the Kennedy's used to live) and it's really easy to get to NYC in less than 20 minutes, by train. So we spent the days before xmas in the city, doing the sightseeing I guess, but also just getting lost in greenwhich village, quite the experience. We came back to Florida on the 26th and celebrated Christmas with my mom and her boyfriend and that side of our family.
For Christmas I got a nano iPod (dad), DVD player (mom), subscription to glamour & teen vogue (grandparents mom's side), black Marc Jacobs purse (grandparents mom's side), Stuart Weitzman leater boots (grandparents dad's side), Givenchy 'Haute couture' box set (grandparents dad's side), day at the spa (from mom, but she got one for my sister and herself too lol, we're actually going tomorrow!), grey Ezra Fitch premium hoodie (dad), purple David Yurman earrings (dad), lacoste socks (dad), purple lacoste polo (dad), $50 gift certificate for express (mom), pink & white pumas (mom), 2 necklaces from urban outfitters (sister), hmm and my aunts and uncle basically all gave me money or gift certificates for random stores, hollister, ae, abercrombie.... so ya great gifts, but i was just so excited to give everyone else their gifts!! i got my mom and her boyfriend a gift certificate for this super nice restaurant, and i got my dad a nice ralph lauren shirt! and my sister she got the britney spears 'curious' perfume box set.
Now I'm so glad to be back, seeing everyone last night at Kaitlyn's. Going shopping later today with Brit I think. Still no clue what I'm doing for new years.
We're going to California in April for the Temecula Toyota College Classic, a showcase tournament for soccer players who want to be scouted. Hopefully something good comes out of it!
